Commander DeAngelis Jr. recited the POW/MIA Ceremony.
Chaplain Parks offered the Opening Prayer
The head table led the body in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The head table led the membership in reciting the Preamble.
Commander DeAngelis Jr. called the Meeting to order at 0900.
Assistant Adjutant Brower took Roll Call, which indicated a quorum was present.
Assistant Adjutant Brower introduced our guest to our DEC Meeting. From the
Detachment of Maryland National Commander of The Sons of The American
Legion Don “JR” Hall and his Aid Tom Deal.
Motion by Joseph Guidice to appoint Bruce Ruthven a Judge Advocate for the
Fall DEC Meeting. This motion is seconded by Clarence Bosford and carried.
Commander DeAngelis Jr. brought forward the Post Commander for greetings
and the Post Commander was presented with a certificate of appreciation.
Motion by David Lee to accept the Motion to Accept Minutes of 2023 Pre & Post
Convention DEC, Convention 2023 Minutes. With the correction made to Page 2
with IA Chairmans name Correction to Williamson not Williams, this is seconded
by Dennis George and carried.
Motion by Joseph Guidice to appoint Kevin Hewitt as Convention Chairman 2024
Niagara Falls. This Is seconded by Herman Downer and carried.
Commander DeAngelis Jr. called the Meeting in recess at 0910 for Commission
and Committee meetings. DEC Meeting to reconvene at 1020.
Commander DeAngelis Jr called the meeting back to order at 1020.
